I have to say, Judges had a terrible effect on me; personally and
pastorally. This seventh book of the Bible is a bummer. I'm sorry, but
God understands how I feel. Everyone did what was right for their
eyes, because there was no king in Israel. How did that happen, we don't have
certainty; but there was a generation of people living in the promised land
who did not know the Lord or the work he did for Israel.
